USA Special Event Description:
Bask in the warmth of Atlantas magnificent weather and soak up the sounds of local musicians at SunTrust Lunch on Broad. This free weekly lunchtime series brings the feel of overseas leisure to Downtown Atlanta. All the romance of Europe and all the tastes and smells of international gourmet foods are found right in the middle of our city.
Enjoy the company of friends and coworkers on your lunch break and feel the rhythm of live jazz, R&B, reggae, soft rock music and more. SunTrust Lunch on Broad takes place in Downtown Atlantas Historic Fairlie-Poplar District, between Walton and Luckie streets from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
SunTrust Lunch on Broad takes place every Friday, weather permitting, May through September, 2007. Tables are set up from 11 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. with live music from Noon - 1 p.m.
This affair provides a casual street café ambience for Downtown workers, students, and visitors to experience. The CAP/ADID Ambassador Force clears the street and sets up patio tables and chairs for all to enjoy. There is no cost to enjoy the open air café style dining. Just bring your lunch, maybe some friends, and take in the music and the fresh air.
Event Performers:
The musical performers change each month for SunTrust Lunch on Broad. One week guests will hear an electic violin performance by Bobby Yang or be treated to a live jazz ensemble from Georgia State University.
