USA Special Event Description:
Blast from the Past, Parkfest the 1st weekend in June. Take a step back in time to the town that time forgot, Russellville Indiana in North Western Putnam County. We have a small town with a big heart. Come sit a spell and reminese with the locals on the history of Russellville. In the Early days we were a booming settler town.
Vendors from across the state attend Parkfest and in 2005 we had 42. We do not accept commercial vendors as our theme is Blast from the Past, we look forward to arts, crafts, homemade goods, candle makers, leather crafters, basket makers, potery, Church groups, Civic organizations, not-for-profits, home party planners are welcome to attend. Friends of the Park has a food grill open from 11 am daily serving: flamegrilled porkloins, hot dogs,kettle baked beans, chips, homemade desserts & drinks. All proceeds from the food grill go to help fund the Summer Fun Programs at the park for the children of Russellville and the surrounding Community.There will be a Childrens Carnival, Settlers Village open both days. Car, Truck & Motorcycle show on Saturday with classes for everyone.
The proceeds from the Car,Truck & Motocycle show help also to fund the Childrens Summer Programs.

From Crawfordsville ( go South on 231) and Greencastle (go North on 231) you take State road 231 to State Road 236 West, go 5 miles on 236 to County road 725 West turn North follow the road into Russellville.you can also go on our website and enter your address into our map request and it will give you directions to Russellville.
