USA Special Event Description:
Step back in time and enjoy several genres of music that had its beginning in cotton fields, at fish frys and barbecues and on street corners. In celebration of native bluesmen and the community's rich musical heritage, a festival will be held on the third weekend of October on and off the historic square of Downtown Brownsville. The Hatchie Fall Festival combines music with good food, southern hospitality, and much, much more. Mark your calendars now and plan to attend a very entertaining day!
