USA Special Event Description:
The Garden Valley Recreation District (GVRD) is a public entity whose mission is to enhance the quality of life for district residents by working in partnership to foster and enrich healthy community environments, protect recreational access and promote activities. This particular event will be held to raise funds for The Garden Valley Community Park. The park is located on the river and includes a beautiful wetland area that will be worked into the landscaping plan. Here is a great opportunity to be a part of an ongoing project that will provide a natural park-like landscape that improves habitat for wildlife as well as providing a place of rest and recreation for the members of the community.
