USA Special Event Description:
The Maui Writers Conference offers something for every writer! While the Conference highlights the fields of fiction, nonfiction and screenwriting, we are also proud to present insightful specialty workshops on the business of publishing, childrens books, journalism, travel writing, food and cookbook writing, poetry and young adult fiction.
Agents Day – a new concept in meeting and acquiring an agent will be offered again this year! Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and ask questions of participating agents in a group setting.
Event Performers:
"New York Times" best-selling authors and screenwriters speak every year at the Conference. Past presenters include Ron Howard, Susan Isaacs, Dorothy Allison, Elizabeth George, Tami Hoag, Jack Canfield, Steve Martini, Jacki Collins, Terry McMillan, Catherine Coulter as well as top agents and editors in the publishing industry.
