USA Special Event Description:
Begun as a way to bring the Symphony to the masses, the popular event draws thousands who come to picnic, party, play and partake in great music. Primarily a pops program, the orchestra also features musical scores from the honored country.
The traditional climax features spectacular fireworks over the river. The massive light show over the river is orchestrated to the music of the Memphis Symphony and is always a family favorite.
