USA Special Event Description:
This years Air Show will celebrate 100 years of flight as 2003 is the anniversary of the Wright brothers first flight at Kitty Hawk in 1903. The skies in the Quad Cities will roar with sleek airplanes flashing in the sunlight doing dazzling tricks and stunts from June 27-29, 2003, flying from the Davenport Municipal Airport. Friday, June 27th, will be an evening show, followed by two days of high-flying excitement. The Military has always played an important role in the annual Quad City Air Show, and 2003 is no exception. We expect participation from the F-15, F-14, A-10, EA-6B, T-45, F/A-18 C-130, C-2, E-2 and others. The show will also include a large military static display and other unique displays.
Event Performers:
Main act-TBA. [Last year, US Airforce Thunderbirds and Canadian Snowbirds flew.] Other professional aerial entertainers will be in attendance, such as the unbelievable wing-walker Patty Wagstaff, Captain Dale Snort Snodgrass, Super Shockwave & Shockwave Jet Semi, Jim Franklin in the incredible JET WACO, F-15 & F-14 TAC Demo, parachutists, warbirds and much, much more.
