USA Special Event Description:
This festival, the largest special event put on by the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks, has three entertainment stages, international food booths, a carnival with games and rides, an arts and crafts show, gymnastic demonstrations, drill team competitions, a volleyball tournament, live elephant rides, an exotic animal petting zoo, pinewood derby races, puppets and marionettes, miniature train rides, a chili cook-off, an elementary school mural competition, pony rides, a free fireworks show and a senior citizen dance.
