USA Special Event Description:
The Rhode Island National Guard Air Show and Open House was established in 1992 as a major community event that all in Southern New England could enjoy and be proud. From its inception, the show has had a simple creed; put on a world class events featuring the best aircraft and pilots and run the show totally for the benefit of the community.
In just over ten years, the show has grown into the largest family event in Southern New England, one of the largest annual fundraisers for the Hasbro Children's Hospital, and a fixture in the community.
In addition to the flight demonstrations being held in the skies above Quonset Point, visitors will be able to enjoy many more aircraft on static display across the flight line. Families will also be able to enjoy the childrens area located on the Air Show flight-line.
