USA Special Event Description:
Our 30th annual race is the largest half marathon west of the Mississippi. It starts at the historic Cabrillo National Monument on Point Loma, with San Diego Bay on one side and the Pacific Ocean on the other. The course slopes downward to San Diego Bay, along the waterfront to the tall ship Star of India, through downtown, and ends in beautiful Balboa Park. The five-kilometer run is on a fast loop course in Balboa Park.
