USA Special Event Description:
The annual SFJAZZ Spring Season, launched in 2000, now rivals the San Francisco Jazz Festival in size and scope. Spanning March through June each year, the Spring Season features as many as 40 concerts, films and events with world-class performers from around the world and attracts an audience of 35,000. Under the direction of saxophone superstar Joshua Redman as its Artistic Director, the SFJAZZ Spring Season has become an instant hit (The New York Times).
