USA Special Event Description:
This yearly Summer Solstice celebration creates a mini global village where people come to a beautiful setting to enjoy a diverse lineup of new and legendary artists from around the world. Now in its 14th year, this world class festival features three days of music performed on two stages, excellent camping, an eclectic group of ethnic food and cultural craft vendors, fire dance troupes, and fun (and educational) childrens activities. The first two days conclude with an authentic late night Jamaican-style dancehall session.

From San Francisco and Points South: Driving Time 2:10
Cross the Golden Gate Bridge and travel North along highway 101 for 83 miles. Take the 128-W exit located just past Cloverdale. Turn left at the stop sign and travel along N. Cloverdale Blvd. for .7 miles. Turn right onto 128-W and proceed for 30 miles to Boonville.
From Ukiah and Points North: Driving Time 35 Minutes
Take Highway 101 South to the 253-W exit located just south of Ukiah. Follow the signs onto Highway 253 West and proceed 17 miles. Turn right on Highway 128 and drive .5 miles to Boonville.
From Sacramento and Points East: Driving Time 2:45
Take Highway 80 West to the CA-37 exit located just before Vallejo. Continue along Marin World Parkway 2.5 miles, where it becomes Sears Point Road (HWY 37). Continue West another 17 miles. Take the US-101 North exit towards Santa Rose/Eureka and proceed 60 miles.
Times:
The Sierra Nevada World Music Festival gate hours are as follows: Gates open at 5pm Friday June 22, 2007. Music begins at 6pm and continues until midnight. The dancehall is open until 2:30 am. The gates open at 10am Saturday with music from 11am until midnight and the dancehall is open until 2:30am. On Sunday June 24th the gates open at 10am and the music begins at 11am and concludes at 10pm.
Admission & Parking:
Admission is $125 for a three day ticket. Parking is $50 for cars, $125 for buses and RV's
